It has been cold and rainy here in sunny California. I don't know about you, but I crave sweet stuff when it's cold out. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have your oven heat up the cold house right? I came across a fairly simple New York-Style Crumb Cake recipe in the March 2011 Martha Stewart Living. I followed the recipe and used blueberry jam before I scattered the crumbs over the cake. FYI, the recipe called for "buttermilk," but I thought that was too "fatty," so I just used regular milk.
