I decided to use a green border for this mini quilt, and I think it came out pretty cute. It also matches my wall color! That was a coincidence. It's hung on one of the walls in my sewing corner.
Back of the quilt.
I used Denyse Schmidt's collection for the back. Do you use cute fabric as backing for your mini quilt like me? It is going to be hung on your wall and no one will ever see the back! I think I should just go with muslin next time. I hand quilted this mini quilt by echoing the two foxes; love the way it came out!

Absolutely cute Susan! As usual! Have a good week!
Adorable! And the embroidered eyes are perfect.
Your foxes are super cute! I wouldn't have had the patience to embroider the eyes so nicely. :D
I love it when I see other people's things with pretty backings, but I can't bring myself to use nice fabric on the bits of things that no one will see. :}
eek! so so cute. I have this pattern but have not made it up yet. UI also love mini quilts- a great way to be brave and try new things. You did a lovely job on your paper piecing!
these are so cute! i like that you used pretty fabric on the back too. i don't think it's a waste if it makes you happy to know that it's there. it's just like setting a pretty table for no particular occasion!
Oh it looks great! This was your first time paperpiecing? I'm so impressed :) Thanks for the link back!
