It wasn't easy for me to find the perfect hat pattern will also cover my ears without making my face look round and big. I came across this Quick Cable Slouchy Hat pattern on Ravelry and was able to finish this project under two days. I used Cascade Yarns Baby Alpaca Chunky; it was so soft and dreamy to work with. I used US size 10, but think I would have loved it more if I had used 11... it would have been more slouchy.

What a beautiful hat! I only fear that it's too hot in California to wear it ;-) It would be perfect here up north though!!!
